Overview

■Sympathizing stringed instrument

SympaSizer® S1 is a stringed instrument that utilizes the Sympathetic phenomenon. (Patented)

The sound of the sympathetic string represented by the sitar (Indian classical plucked string instrument) produces attractive sound effects. However, the effect of such a sympathetic string could only be obtained by playing the instrument.

SympaSizer® S1 does not have a string to play directly, only a sympathetic string. Then, the strings resonate with the sound from the outside of the instrument, producing a sound peculiar to the sympathetic strings.
